US Navy Los Angeles class nuclear fast attack submarine Flight III (688 Improved) type. Kit has detailed full hull (split upper and lower with engraved and raised surface detail – including VLS doors), detailed sail (with choice of extended periscopes and masts or retracted), optional extended bow planes, Secondary Propulsion Motor, optional piggyback ASDS (SEAL delivery) mini-sub, display stand and photo-etch parts (nameplate screw blades, bridge spray shields). Completed model is approximately 12.3″ long. Includes 3-view color painting guide and decals for sail numbers, draft marks and ensigns.
